Love (2015)

For SSAA choir and piano, composed in spring of 2015. It had a double premiere in Oregon by Willamette University’s Voce Femminile, directed by Christine Welch-Elder, and in California by Vox Musica, directed by Daniel Paulson.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth.
